Living in San Francisco and the Bay Area means going to lots of restaurants. The problem is, I can't always remember which ones I've been to and what I thought of them. So, as a service to myself, and anyone else reading, I'm going to start posting small reviews of the new restaurants I visit. Maybe someone will find it useful.
Restaurant - Sweetie Pies in Placerville
May. 2nd, 2005 05:55 pmOn our way back from Tahoe Sunday morning we stopped in Pacerville for brunch. There was a cute, homestyle place with lots of outside seating near the downtown. I had a cinnamon roll, very tasty and not too sweet (I don't like things overly sweet). Also had the ollalie berry pancakes, there were lots of berries and it was very tasty. Tried their biscuits and gravy, that was just ok. Jeannie had an omelette which was pretty good. But overall I recommend the pancakes and cinnamon rolls.
